How to rent a listing on this website:

Each unit online is owned individually or by a Corporation. Therefore each unit rents with various policies and requirements. When you have made a selection from the website contact our offices by emailing us at rentals@candw.ky or calling us at 1-345-916-3539 or 1-345-925-3539 or by fax: 1-345-946-7223.
Please request an application form, and upon receipt complete the application in full in the English Language, sign, date and return by fax 1-345-946-7223 or scan and email to us at rentals@candw.ky. The application must be accompanied by a job reference letter confirming employment, and if on a work permit must specify the duration of your employment contract, additionally if you are un-employed/ self-employed OR a Student a bank reference confirming your financial position which must cover the term of the lease agreement. A Credit Card is required for security of the last months rent or in the absence of a valid credit card the last months rent must be paid in advance. (Island Rental Services reserves the right to refuse incomplete application forms).
Island Rental Services will respond to your application within 72 business hours (between Monday-Friday) advising if you are qualified to rent the property. Please note that the owner/landlord makes the final decision on the application.
You have completed the above and you qualify for the rental then a deposit is required to hold the property. A hold deposit is required to hold the property until the lease agreement is signed by all parties. Payments can only be received in forms of: Credit Card (Visa & Mastercard)/Certified Bank Draft (local banks only) and US or CI Cash. Conversion rate is calculated at $0.80. Deposits are refunded as per the agreement. Persons signing the lease must have a valid credit card. Caymanian Citizens only can use a valid local debit card if a credit card is not available. (Refunds issued from Island Rental Services are issued in the form of a certified bank cheque).
You have signed the lease and now you will have to complete the utility forms. Island Rental Services will assist with completing the Electricity and Water application forms, but the tenant must deliver these forms in person to connect the services. For the electric a copy of the lease agreement must accompany the application form. The water company application will be faxed by Island Rentals on behalf of the owner when completed and signed by the Tenant and Landlord or authorised person. (Other utility forms are available such as: Internet/Cable/Telephone) and is the responsibility of the Tenant to complete and deliver to the utility companies directly paying any connection and deposits required).
Finally, when the lease agreement is signed, all deposits and the first month's rent is paid to Island Rental Services, and all utility application forms are completed for the electric and water, the Tenant is handed the keys to the rental or one (1) day prior to the occupancy date if the property is un-occupied or if all cleaning & repairs are completed.
